Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, February 24, 2010: Speaking to scribes here, leader of opposition Oommen Chandy said, the pre budget address of Governor RS Gavai reveals nothing but the sluggish nature of LDF government.

The customary pre budget session of the governor has lost its relevance; no development activities have taken place in past four years. No project proposal has been mentioned for combating price rise. In the 2007 budget it was announced that, Kerala would be made a investment friendly state but the government cannot boasts of any development in the past two years. Chandy said.

There is no unanimity among Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues regarding giving SEZ status. The government must reveal where the much publicised Smartcity project disappear. Oommen Chnady also alleged that, the address also evaded, Munnar issue

The address also went to the extend of claiming that the state’s financial as well as law and order state is safe, which is utter false, Oommen Chandy alleged.
