Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, June 21, 2011: The State education department has today issued a directive granting no-objection certificates (NOC) for 540 new CBSE and ICSE schools in the State. The directive points out that NOC will be granted to all schools who apply as per the rules and regulations.

Meanwhile the CPM-led LDF Opposition in Kerala flayed the state government’s decision to grant NOCs for CBSE and ICSE schools, claiming it would “adversely” affect the functioning of public schools in the state.
