Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, May 26, 2010: The Kerala State Health Minister P.K Sreemathy today told that the Government was providing excellent aid in the eye care and treatment sector. Minister Sreemathy was addressing a function of laying foundation stone for the new causality block of the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology.

Minister added that the Centre’s aid was required for the development of the Pancha Karma Institute in Poojappura. Shasi Tharoor who had also attended the function guaranteed that he would discuss the matter with the Central government and take initiative measures for the development of the sectors.
