Thiruvananthapuram, Monday, February 08, 2010: Abolishing the first order released by state Irrigation department to demolish Tata’s check dam in Munnar, the department has released a fresh order to raze down the dam rectifying the anomalies in the first order.

The new order empowers district collector to take appropriate action against the check dam.

This is the third order released by the government.

It is reported that, the new ordinance was released following directions from Advocate General CP Sudhakar in the earlier orders released by Irrigation department as well as the Revenue Principal secretary there were certain clause, which the Company could use in its defense.
