Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, March 17, 2010: The Kerala State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, C. Divakaran told that the government was unaware of the price hike of Milma in Ernakulam. The price of milk was hiked to rupees 2 per cover. The Minister told that the government would take legal action against Milma for this hike.

Milma was always keen for price hike and the decision to hike the price of milk should be always reported to the government, but the Milma has failed to do so, he added. The hike came to effect in Ernakulam from today. The decision to hike price was taken in a meeting held last week by the Milma ruling committee.
