Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, February 09, 2010: When the whole city is immersed in the GV Raja football tournament euphoria, the family of a victim who lost his life in the 1984 gallery collapse during the GV Raja football match is on the verge of losing their only shelter.

Mother of Jayachandran who was a silent martyr of the tragedy is finding it difficult to make both ends meet. Jayachandran who was bedridden for almost twenty one years after the tragedy died in 2005.

Apart from receiving a small amount as monetary aid from the Oommen Chandy government in 2005, the family is in a neglected state so far.
