Moovattupuzha, Wednesday, July 21, 2010: The police today arrested Younus (30), the main accused in the savage attack on T.J Joseph, a Malayalam lecturer of Newman College in Thodupuzha. As per the report Younus was taken into custody by the police while he was on his way from Tamil Nadu to Palakkad district.

A police team headed by SP Unni Rajan has started interrogating Younus for clarifying his involvement in the hand chopping case. The police reports say that Younus along with other two suspects had arranged the vehicle and money for committing the crime. The vehicle was taken into custody the next day after the crime.
