Kochi, Monday, March 02, 2009: Kerala High Court today stayed its stay over land deed distribution in Munnar after the state government in an affidavit produced before High Court said, the land deed distribution is transparent and legal.
A division bench of the Kerala High Court had earlier stayed the land allocation process in Munnar and asked the government to furnish details regarding the land allocation
The division bench headed by Acting Chief Justice JB Koshy gave the order while considering the public interest petition filed by public interest protection association. The court asked the government to provide details regarding the criteria for distribution, the number of applications received for the process and the mode of allocation of title deed
