Kochi, Sunday 31 Monday 2010: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court today came down heavily on K. Jayakumar, Chief Devaswom Commissioner, for staying a transfer order, which is under consideration of the court.
The bench reminded that the special commissioner is not on top of the HC and asked if the commissioner believes that he is superior. The court expresses the act of special commissioner as interference in the execution of law. The court observed that the special commissioner is working as a parellel court.
Nalinakshan Nair, Devaswom commissioner has been directed to present himself before the court tomorrow. The court also directed to submit all orders signed by the special commissioner. The advocate general has also been directed to present the government’s stand.
