One more held in PSC recruitment scam  

Wayanad, Thursday, December 09, 2010: One more person was arrested by the Police in connection with the PSC scam. The Vaalad Village assistant P Vimal was the one arrested.

Vimal, a native of Malappuram was caught by the Police near Kalpetta.

Abhilash S Pillai, the main accused in the job scam has surrendered before the Ernakulam (CJM) Court on December 7th. Abhilash was the one who offered jobs to many after accepting a lump sum amount. The scam took place when he was working as the Section Clerk in the Wayanad collectorate.

Sooraj Krishna who acquired a job with the help of Abhilash too surrendered along with Abhilash.

Wayanad District Collector T Bhaskaran has been suspended from the service. The action was taken following the report given by the land revenue commissioner KR Muraleedharan stating the Collector’s fault in PSC job scam.

A special team has been constituted for further investigation into the PSC recruitment scam in which two persons obtaining jobs in Revenue Department in Wayanad by fake orders and advice memos. The special team would be probing the involvement of the middle men and the accused in the job scam in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts.

    Our Full constituency is corrupted instead of catching these people our media should show more about the corruption done by our politicians, these people must have done this to get jobs ya the way they have done is wrong but the media is just exaggerating the issue a bit instead of focusing about the actual cause of corruption.
