Kollam, Friday, July 09, 2010: The bomb squad conducted a search on the Kerala Express bound to Delhi following a bomb threat, today. When the train reached Kollam station, a thorough search was conducted.

The Kollam station manager received a letter stating that a bomb has been placed in the train. The letter stated that explosions would occur if PDP chairman Abdul Nazer Maudani wouldn’t be exempted from the Bangalore blast case. In the extensive searches conducted, no explosives were recovered from the train.
