Thiruvananthapuram, Sunday 16 May 2010: The Home Ministry recommended suspension of Suresh Kumar IAS. A recommendation in this regard reached the Chief Minister’s office.

The CM would be considering the report tomorrow. The CM would be forced to take a quick decision, since the matter is regarding corruption.

The vigilance had conducted inquiry about the alleged irregularities of Suresh Kumar, while serving as MD of state agricultural co-operative rural development bank.

The charges include abstaining from office without intimation for long period and irregularities in the sales of vehicles. Suresh Kumar enjoys close relation with the CM and has often been the center of attack of CPM official faction.
