Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday 01 April 2010: Traders downed shutters and staged a march to the police station in protest against the attack towards hotels and shops in the capital city.

The Rahath Hotel in Manacaud was attacked at 11 pm on Wednesday night. Stones were pelted towards the adjacent shops also. The owner of the hotel Nizthar and his employee received heavy blows.
