Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, August 24, 2010: As part of the Onam day celebrations in Thiruvananthapuram, ACV today hosted the ‘Ilayaraja Nite’ at the Chandrasekharan Nair stadium, as an honour to Ilayaraja, the prominent composer of film music in South Indian cinema.

The programme featured many famous musicians such as Hariharan, Mano, Vijay Yesudas, Rajalekshmi and Chinmayi; they also sang various songs that were composed by Ilayaraja.

A large number of people thronged the stadium to attend musical treats offered by the maestros.
