Several injured as KSRTC bus plunges into pond   Several

Thiruvananthapuram, Monday, 02 August 2010: Several passengers were injured when a Kerala Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus went off a road and fell into a roadside well at Puthkulam near Parasalla , near here. The mishap took place at around morning 9.30, when the bus with around 60 passengers on board lost control, says report.

Of the forty-seven injured, 11 were admitted to the , 35 in Parasalla Taluk hospital and one in a local private hospital. The condition of the injured was stated to stable, police said.

The bus running in Kaliyakavilla to Thiruvanathapuram route had met with the accident on the way. Police and Fire force rushed to the spot and headed the rescue operation.
