Kozhikode, Tuesday, January 11, 2011: The Indian National League (INL) party State general secretary P.M.A. Salam, MLA has been removed from post. Salam has been removed from post after the direction from INL All-India president Mohammed Sulaiman, sources said.

Salam had come under severe criticism after he had raised statements that the INL must join the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and it is reported that Salam was removed as a disciplinary action.
