Vadakkara, Wednesday, April 08, 2009: Coming down heavily upon the ruling left government in Kerala, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi who kicked off her election campaign tour from Vadakkara in Kozhikode said, the left rule in the state has bought complete anarchy in the state because the internal conflicts. Speaking at the Vadakkara Payoli high school ground Sonia alleged the left who is raising staunch opposition against communal forces have gone for alliance with them twice.
Sonia Gandhi said, the UPA government has offered many development projects for the state no matter who ruled, Ezhimala Naval Academy, Kannur Airport, various projects for NRIs, formation of Sachaar Committee were some among them.
Sonia urged that people should have faith on Congress which has a glorious history its leaders Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi have sacrifices lives for the country.
Sonia Gandhi concluded her speech with Vishu and Easter wishes. UDF leaders Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala were also present in the venue.
