Isolated heavy rain likely for two more days in Kerala  

Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, November 4, 2011: Rain occurred at many places in Kerala and at a few places in Lakshadweep. Vellanikkara (Thrissur district) reported an of 10 cm.

The other chief amounts of rainfall reports in cm are – Vadakara (Kozhikode district) 6, Karipur AP (Malappuram district) & Vadakkancherry (Thrissur district) 5 each, Kudulu (Kasaragod district) 4 and Alathur (Palakkad district), Angadippuram & Manjeri (both in Malappuram district), Hosdurg (Kasaragod district), Quilandy (Kozhikode district) & Thrissur 3 each. Another 16 stations reported rainfall of 1 cm to 2 cm. Karipur AP recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 220C.

Rain/thundershower will occur at many places in Kerala and Lakshadweep. will occur in Kerala and Lakshadweep during next 48 hours.

Generally cloudy sky with a few spells of shower/thundershower. No
significant change is expected in minimum temperature which will be around 240C.
