Kochi, Wednesday, March 17, 2010: The price of Milma Jersy milk has been hiked to rupees 2 per cover in Ernakulam. The profit share raised from this price hike would be given to the dairy farmers, the Milma authorities of the Ernakulam unit told. The curd’s price has also been hiked to rupees 1 per cover. The price hike of milk in the Ernakulam district was decided in the ruling committee meeting which was held a week ago. The price hike came to effect from today.
