Justice Basant to monitor Abhaya probe

Kochi, Thursday, January 08, 2009: Removing a major impasse created by the single bench order of Justice Hema, the Kerala High Court ruled that the Abhaya Murder case will now be monitored by Justice R Basant.

Also the Court ruled that, the CBI team constituted by Kerala High Court will continue to investigate the case under the CBI Joint Director Ashok Kumar and DIG Kuntha Swamy.

The Court was hearing the clarification petition filed by CBI.

A few days ago Justice Hema had criticised the CBI on the course of the investigation.

While granting bail to the three accused in the Sister Abhaya case Justice Hema had observed that it appeared that the investigation in the Sister Abhaya murder case was “going off the track.”

The Court had also raised objection regarding the CDs containg the Narco analysis report of the three accused the Court said, On all probabilities, those are edited and manipulated at the Forensic Science Laboratory itself by the person or persons who were doing analysis”. It was, therefore, necessary that the investigator should take all steps necessary to retrieve the unedited original video on the test before proceeding further to act on these CDs.

It is high time that the methods used to cover up truth are exposed without delay.
Time erases all vital details and some part of the truth, progressively.
There is no need to fear any religion. Truth alone is admissible

Mr. Sathomas,If the accused are not punished it meanse Justice Basant took Dollars. If they are punished Justice Basant did not get Dollars. Very good advice for Law and Order…. keep it up.

I remember the statements from our Supreme Court Chief Justice Mr. K.G. Balakrishnan that, 20% of the judges in India are corrupted and we are helpless in this.
Another statement was from the Minister Mr. Paloli Mohammed Kutty that, the weight of the currency a major factor in the verdicts from the court.

There was a judgement on Ist Jan. ‘09 from single Bench Judge Mrs. Hema, proved that, the above two statements are correct.
Mr. Basant is coming in the 80%.

    Hats off to Justice Basant.
I agree with Mr. Peter Paul and Mr. Joe Mathew.
The general public are with you people.
The supporters of the Ghosts and Devils are, only the Bishops, because, they are getting 5 star facility. If they oppose, they will be loosing the 5 star facility and will be out from the community.
99.999999% Christians thinking that, the investigation is on right path and the culprits are the three (Thomas Kottor, Jose Puthrukkayil and Sr. Sheffy)

Put “Thomasukutty” and the relatives to the Narcoanalysis. Then you will know why Hema gave the bail.
