Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, August 18, 2010: PDP working Chairman Poonthura Siraj today told that justice was denied for PDP Chairman Abdul Nazar Maudani following his arrest from Anwarsseri camp. Siraj asserted that there was no need to see Maudani’s arrest as a communal issue.
Speaking at a press conference held at Kesari hall in Thiruvananthapuram today, Siraj complained that BJP Central leadership was behind Maudani’s arrest in the sacred Ramadan month. The Bangalore police has shifted Maudani to an unknown location and did not permit him to meet his advocate, said Siraj.
Siraj urged Chief Minister V.S Achuthanandan to ask the Karnataka government to provide proper medical treatment for Maudani.
