Kasargod: Two more held in Bangalore blast case  

Kasargod, Saturday, October 16, 2010: A suspected LeT militant and another person have been arrested from Rajasthan and Kerala for their alleged involvement in the 2008 Bangalore bomb blasts.

The two had played an active role in the blasts, but right now we cannot state what exactly was the nature of their roles. This will be more clear after a detailed investigation, police sources in Bangalore said today.

One of the accused has been identified as Umar Farooq, who was arrested from Ajmer, and the other as Ibrahim Moulavi, a cleric from Kasargod, they said.

Moulavi (48), a suspected LeT militant, was arrested by Karnataka’s Anti-Terrorist Squad last night at Badiyadukka in the district, police in Kasargod district of Kerala said.
