Thiruvananthapuram, Saturday 20 June 2009: A 26-day-long session of the Kerala Assembly, the first after the Lok Sabha elections,would begin on June 22.

Talking to newspersons here today, Speaker K Radhakrishnan said 13 days would be allotted for a detailed discussion on the State budget, which was presented to the House during the previous session.

Besides budget discussion, as many as seven Ordinances were likely to be replaced during the session, to be concluded on July 29.
