Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, January 31, 2012: State Finance Minister KM Mani on Tuesday said that the Kerala Budget for 2012-13 fiscal will be presented before the Union Budget.

Addressing a press conference here, Mani said that the Union Budget is likely to be presented on March 16. But, the State Budget will be presented before that as it needs sufficient time to fulfil the constitutional obligation.’

‘However, the exact date for the presentation of the Budget will be decided by the Cabinet,’ he added.

After a three-day discussion, other formalities including Vote on Account would be completed before March 31, the Minister informed.
