Bangalore, Monday, August 16, 2010: The Karnataka Home minister V.S Acharya today informed that Kerala was not cooperating in the PDP Chairman Abdul Nazar Maudani’s arrest for his involvement in Bangalore blast case. V.S Acharya strongly criticized Kerala, since the State police had not taken any positive steps to ensure Maudani’s arrest.
Karnataka police officials have been staying at Anwarsseri for six days in order to arrest Maudani. Acharya informed that Maudani must be produced before Court on Tuesday, and that this matter has been informed to Kerala with all seriousness.
Although Karnataka police had hoped for Kerala’s cooperation in Maudani’s arrest, Kerala failed to cooperate, said Acharya.
