Kochi, Sunday 25 July 2010: The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) on Sunday warned Indian pacer Sreesanth for criticizing them for removing him from the captainship of the Kerala Cricket Team.
Briefing reporters after the meeting, KCA chairman T C Mathew said strict action would be taken against him if he violates the code of conduct.
The KCA was infuriated after the pacer criticized them soon after the decision was taken removing him from the post, via media. The meet decided to seek an explanation from the pacer.
Mathew said they have entrusted the general body to take action against Sreesanth if he commits the same mistake again. They also dismissed his allegation that he was not informed about their decision. The members said they had informed the pacer a week before the team selection.
Meantime, Sreesanth said that he is not responding to the decision of the KCA.
