Bangalore, Wednesday, 25 August 2010: Bangalore City police Commissioner Sankar Bithari on Wednesday made it clear that there are no evidences yet against PDP Chairman Abdul Nazer Maudani in connection with the Bangalore Stadium blast case. However, he refuted to comment on Karnataka Home Minister V.S Acharya’s remarks regarding the same.

Bithari detailing the controversy revealed that Maudani is being interrogated only in connection with the Bangalore serial blast case. Adding a note, he said they would approach the Court for extending the custody of the leader if necessary. He disclosed these details to the media at the sideline of a function, here, today.

Acharya had on Tuesday stated that Maudani’s hand was suspected in the Stadium. Later Counsel for Maudani had come up stating that all such remarks made by the Home Minister were quite untrue.
