Madurai, Monday 10 January 2010: Three Ayyappa devotees from Kerala were killed and 17 injured when their van collided with a stationary lorry here on Monday morning, police said.

The deceased were identified as Shanmugam (55) Ravi (33) and A Anilkumar(10) and they hailed from Kollangodu in Palakkad district, police said. The devotees were going to Ramaeswarm when they met with the accident.
