My Name Is Khan released in Kerala   My

Thiruvananthapuram, Friday 12 February 2010: The controversies surrounding Shah Rukh Khan’s film My Name Is Khan (MNIK), has created a huge buzz around Kerala. The film is opening in 35 screens, really big for a Hindi film in the state.

It has become the most wanted film of the week, and in places like Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode there is heavy advance booking. MNIK is going to eat into Allu Arjun’s Arya 2-second week collections and will also be a threat to Dileep’s new release Agathan.

The trade is gung-ho about MNIK which carries very good reviews and the predictions are that it may beat the 3 Idiots opening in Kerala.

There is a lot of sympathy for SRK in Kerala, especially in Malabar area where he is some kind of demi god.
