Kannur, Wednesday, September 01, 2010: Four persons including three school children and a middle-aged man were killed in a road mishap near Taliparambu in Kanuur today. The mishap occurred when a bus that lost control rammed into the waiting shed.

The persons have been identified as Khadar (a resident of Kannur) and Riswana (a resident of Kuppam), Kunjamina and Khadija. The three are students of Seethi Sahib Higher secondary school in Taliparambu. The dead bodies have been shifted to the Taliparambu Lourde Hospital.

The local residents who were agitated by the incident pelted stones at the bus.
