Kannur, Saturday 08 January 2010: One person was killed when an auto and an innova car collided with each other at Valapattanam bridge in Kannur-Thaliparamb national highway.

The dead has been identified as Mohanan (53) of Pappinisheri. He was inside the auto, when the accident occurred. Driver of the auto Chandran has been admitted in the hospital with minor injuries.
