Kochi, Sunday, June 26, 2011: A high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy for discussing the implementation of the proposed Kochi Metro railway project has begun here today. The meeting is being held at the Ernakulam Government guest house.

The meeting is expected to discuss the issues relating to the development of basic facilities and modes of project implementation. The delegates of the Delhi Metro Corporation will attend the meeting.

MLAs, Private bus operators’ union and Trade union members will attend. District Collector PI Shaik Pareeth informed that Union Minister KV Thomas, State Ministers Aryadan Muhammed, VK Ibrahim Kunju, K Babu, TM Jacob will also attend the meeting.
