Thiruvananthapuram, Sunday, December 05, 2010: State Home minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan today assured that a vigilance probe would be initiated into the PSC recruitment scam in which two persons obtaining jobs in Revenue Department in Wayanad by fake Public Service Commission orders and advice memos. Speaking to the reporters here today, Home minister opined that a case has been registered in connection with this incident.
Revenue Minister KP Rajendran today had requested for Vigilance inquiry in the PSC recruitment scam and had send a letter to Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan in connection with this case.

It is reported that many persons have got appointment to the Government Service by producing fake Joining Order and Advice Memo of the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC).
The department inspection on Saturday have found that 6 persons hailing from Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram and Malappuram districts have got appointed to the Village Assistant and LD Clerk posts under Revenue Department by producing fake Joining Order and Advice Memo of the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC).Suraj S Krishnan from Thiruvananthapuram, VP Premjith, K P Vimal, T Gopakumar, A Jyothi from Kollam and K B Shamseera from Sulthan Bathery have secured the jobs through fake PSC joining orders.
Two employees of the Wayanad Collectorate were found to have joined the Department by forging the hall tickets, advice memos and related documents of the PSC. It has been alleged that a fraud of this degree could not have committed without the connivance of top-level officials. The District Collector has sent a primary report to the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau and the State Government.
The Minister entrusted Land Revenue Commissioner K R Muralidharan to probe into the matter and submit the report to the Government at the earliest.
