Koothuparambu firing: Verdict tomorrow

Thalassery, Thursday 9 July 2009: Thalassery Additional Sessions court judge will pronounce the verdict in the Koothuparambu firing case tomorrow.

The verdict on Koothuparamba firing which was scheduled to be declared yesterday has been postpone to Friday by the Thalassery Additional Sessions court judge A Haris.

The hearing of the case was completed on June 30.

The case is that some DYFI activists’ tried to murder the then cooperation minister M V Raghavan, when he came to inaugurate the branch of the urban bank in Koothuparambu on November 25, 1994. 88 persons are named as accused in the case.25 accused including CPM leader M Surendran presented before the court.
