Kottayam, Sunday, January 29, 2012: The 24th Kerala Science Congress beginning here today will focus on climate change besides plantation crops and spices of the state.

The three-day congress will be held at the Rubber Research Institute of India, an official spokesman said . The congress, concluding on January 31, will provide an opportunity for presentation of research papers and poster presentations in 12 different science subject areas by state level winners of Children’s Science Congress.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the event and Prof T Ramasami, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology will deliver the keynote address. Revenue Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the science exhibition as part of the congress at M M Hall here today.
