New Delhi, Saturday, February 06, 2010: After a brief discussion with veteran Congress leader K Karunakaran, Union Defence Minister AK Antony said, it is the KPCC and High Command which should decide the fate of K Muralidharan.

AK Antony along with Minister of State for Home Mullappally Ramachandran had come to Kerala house to see K Karunakaran.
Meanwhile, K Karunakaran said, he was satisfied with the progression of talks with congress leadership however he refused to make public statements about the re-entry of his son and added that he has informed the leaders of the benefits of having Muralidharan in the party.

Karunakaran is believed to have discussions with Sonia Gandhi, AICC president after the crucial CWC meeting. Many senior leaders of the party later called on Karunakaran even though Mohsina Kidwai, AICC general secretary in charge of Kerala affairs refuted reports that Muraleedharan issue was discussed. Karunakaran is presently having discussions with AK Antony.
