Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday 08 July 2010: The KSU has declared an education bandh today following a clash between KSU activists and Police at Palayam here on Wednesday afternoon.
The KSU leaders said that they would take out district level march on Thursday.

The KSU march held as a protest against the self-financing education policies, to the State assembly turned violent on Wednesday.
The police blockaded the KSU activists in front of the assembly that led to the scuffle between the Police and the activists.
The activists were lathi charged by the police, 11 activists including the KSU state president Shafi Parambil were injured in the scuffle.
They have been admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College hospital. A case was registered against 11 activists including KSU state president, Shafi Parambil.
