Bangalore, Sunday 4 January 2009: Narco Analysis lab Director Dr Mohan here today refused the observations of high court about the narco test CDs of sister Abhaya murder accused.
Earlier in an embarrassment to the CBI, the Kerala High Court granted bail to three accused in the Sister Abhaya case after observing that investigation in the 16-year-old case was going ‘off the track and had derailed’.
Justice K Hema, after going through the Case Diary and examining the materials placed by CBI, said the “the investigation is going off the track, and had derailed.”
Further detention of the three accused– Father Thomas Kottur, Father Jose Puthrikayil and Sister Sephi, on the basis of materials placed, would result in gross ‘miscarriage of justice’, the court held while allowing their bail pleas.
Observing that ‘there is only a chase for the shadow, rather the object in this case’, she said this case is only a ‘futile exercise’.

These people will try to give Fr. Kottoor the title of sainthood. That’s how much ego they have.
The question here is not any community or church. Real culprit has be to be brought to light. REMIND THAT NO ONE IS ABOVE LAW, disregarding whether he is a priest, saint or a common man. Speaking about evidence you should remind that all the conclusive evidences including Abhaya’s personal diary, clothes including viel and other personal belongings had been distroyed at an earlier stage of enquiry. People at the helm of affairs of Crime branch and local police itself are respopnsible and involved in this act and respected H.C had brought it to public and media’s notice many times.
You should also remember Fr.Kotoor have not received any clean chit atleast from his students, who were believed to know him well than us.
Let us not make any biased comments and assume any one as CULPRIT OR CONCLUDE AS MERE INNOCENT and we shall leave it to law and order and other legal practises prevailing in our country. Believe God will reveal the truth one day.
Verdict of CJM Hema cleary depicts how the case could have influenced by external so called ‘unknown’hands for all these past 16 years. As a judge she passed biased verdict to the favour of her GOD FATHERS, which were neither in confirmity with case diary nor to any one’s COMMON SENSE. She showed her ignorance and negligence passing controversial bail verdict forcing public to believe hoary suicide story, putting Bangalore forencic Inst. under doubt (where narco tests of accused even in cases of national importance had conducted) and not aware of who monitors the case at CBI, shows her in poor light of ignorance.
Narco analysis is not evidence in any other government in the free world. It should never be used in the first place. Throw it out and try the accused on the facts. No room for rumor and speculation in JUSTICE.
if narco is done for terrorist to solve terror involved crime,narco is useful tool. but when priest and nuns are subjected it should never be used. Justice is always justice whther priest or terrorist. But when narco is part evidence while other evidences are being collected by the CBi/why toture narco specialist in helping to search the truth? is it for being truthful and not being like justice Hema
