Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, April 05, 2011: P.T. Thomas, Congress MP, on Monday came out with a set of documents and a letter which he claims relate to Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan’s stand on controversial SNC-Lavalin case.
Addressing a press conference here, Thomas said the onus was on Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Prakash Karat to state his stand on the Chief Minister’s letter, dated July 29, 2005, to the Polit Bureau seeking party State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan’s removal and subjecting him to legal proceedings.
He wanted the Chief Minister to state whether he still stood by his letter.
