Palakkad, Sunday, October 09, 2011: The district committee meeting of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) has demanded a judicial inquiry into the brutal attack on Krishnakumar, a teacher at R.V. Higher Secondary School, Valakom, near Kottarakara.

The school is owned by Kerala Congress (B) leader R. Balakrishna Pillai.
In a statement here on Sunday, the LDF district committee said there were many loose ends in the case and only a judicial inquiry would bring out the truth.

The statement alleged that the United Democratic Front (UDF) government was trying to sabotage the inquiry into the attack on the school teacher. The government was providing ‘five star’ facitlties to Pillai who was imprisoned in a corruption case under orders from the Supreme Court.
