Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, June 01, 2010: The LDF meeting, which was held today, has decided to recommend to the government for establishing a Veterinary University in Kerala. The CPM and CPI had disputes regarding the establishing of Veterinary University.
The CPI’s suggestion to establish a Veterinary University was rejected by the Finance department earlier, but the CPI remained in its strong stance.

Minister for State Animal Husbandry C. Divakaran had earlier told that the he would remain on his strong opinion regarding the establishing of Veterinary University. Minister added that the decision regarding the establishing of University would be taken in the next cabinet.
C. Divakaran told that the Finance department had expressed their disinterest in the instituting the Veterinary University. Minister Divakaran added that he was optimistic regarding the decision of the establishing of the Veterinary University.
