Ernakulam, Sunday, November 01, 2009: Stirring up new controversies, LDF had filed complaint to Election Commission against Union Minister of state Shashi Tharoor for poll code breach.

According to the complaint, Shashi Tharoor through his statements has tried to manipulate the voters. Tharoor who had been campaigning for UDF candidate Dominic Presentation had detailed various development projects of the central government during his speech at St. Theresas College. He had also requested the students to remember the importance of election date November 7th.

LDF Election committee chairman CM Dinesh had filed the complaint stating that Tharoor had violated the code of conduct applicable to the representatives of political parties in state or center.
