New Delhi, Friday 12 March 2010: Chanting anti-government slogans, hundreds of supporters of Left parties today held a demonstration here protesting the rising prices of essential commodities.

The protesters demanded immediate steps to bring down the prices of essential commodities and roll back of hike in petroleum prices.

Top leaders from various Left parties are taking part in the demonstration and will address it later in the day.
