Kollam, Wednesday 15 Oct 2008: The driver of a lorry was killed when the vehicle fell into a 200 ft gorge after losing control at Valanjanganam on the national highway at Theni in Kollam district.

The incident happened at 6 am this morning. The lorry from Dindigul overturned and fell into the gorge after colliding with another lorry.

The dead has been identified as Selvaraj (35), native of Tamil Nadu. Cleaner Rajan (45) escaped miraculously from the lorry.
