Kalpetta, Thursday, February 9, 2012: A 26 Batalion Jawan post at Dhubulia in Nadia district of West Bengal committed suicide in the wee hours today.

Official sources said Ratish (28), son of CK Madhavan of Wayanad, pumped a bullet in his head using service rifle at around 4 am. The jawan was immediately taken to the Shaktinagar District Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The reason for his suicide was not known yet, sources said, adding that the matter was being investigated by police.
