Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, September 16, 2009: The lone giraffe, Raja of Thiruvananthapuram Zoo was found dead inside its enclosure on Tuesday night.
The animal was 10 years old.
The nature of death is not known; the post mortem is expected to be conducted today.
Raja was brought over from Mysore in 2002.
