Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday 28 July 2009: The Museum police on Monday night arrested Anil Thrikovil, 35, for pestering a woman employee of a company in Technopark through phone and e-mails.

Anil, a resident of Pandit’s Colony, Kowdiar, was arrested by a team led by CI, Museum, N.A. Baiju. The police raided his house around 8.30 p.m., arrested him and confiscated his computer. Anil had been calling the woman hailing from Sasthamangalam for three months, the police said. E-mails sent by him were traced to Net cafes near General Hospital and Engineering College.

The police action comes in the wake of the complaint filed in the Museum police station three days ago. The cyber cell had traced the phone calls and e-mails. Anil, now unemployed, had earlier worked in a firm in Technopark.
