Thiruvananthapuram, Friday 04 June 2010: A new mass transfer list of government doctors in the general cadre has come out. The transfer aims to fill the vacancies created by the implementation of specialty cadre.

The number of transfers is as follows: Thiruvananthapuram 38, Kollam 12, Alappuza 23, Pathanamthitta 24, Idukki 11, Kottayam 15, Ernakulam 26, Thrissur 21, Palakkad, 22, Malappuram 28, Kozhikode 26, Wayanad 17, Kannur 31 and Kasargod 3.

Meanwhile, K.G.M.O.A. has said that the doctors in the first list take charge Friday. But some of the doctors have decided that they need only to report for duty only after K.G.M.O.A. working committee meeting Saturday.
