Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday, October 28th 2009 : Causing a severe blow to the Kerala Government, the Teachers Association have decided to go ahead with the stir until their demands are met, around two hundred doctors of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College have decided to withdraw themselves from the non-corporation strike.
The Doctors will present a joint memorandum signed by them to Health Minister P.K Sreemathi today. The withdrawal from the strike comes in the backdrop when the KGMCTA units are all set to scale down its strike. The general body meeting of all five units of the KGMCTA will be held today at the respective medical colleges in which a decision on whether to continue with the strike or not will be taken.
This decision will be ratified by the Central Executive Committee meeting, which is scheduled for Thursday in Kochi.
