Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday, March 18, 2010: The Kerala State Minister for Food and Civil supplies C. Divakaran told that, Milma has broken the norms by hiking the milk price without the consent of the government. The government is not keen for price hike of milk and that the price hike wont increase the production level, he added.

The government is not against Milma for giving allowances to the dairy farmers. Milma zonal units can function without hiking the price of milk, he added. Minister had earlier told that, the government would take legal actions against Milma for the price hike.
